51 apps for your homelab. One sign-in.

The Pocket apps are small self-hosted replacements for the cloud services in your life: money, photos, music, notes, tasks, health, travel and the server itself. Run the ones you need, or all of them on a Pocket Box.

All of them ship on Pocket Box · Each one is one binary and one SQLite file

Small on purpose

Every app is one Go binary with its web interface built in and one SQLite file for its data. Back it up by copying a folder; run it on a Raspberry Pi or a NAS.

One sign-in for all of them

Pocket Core is the hub: one account per person signs in to every app, phones pair with a QR code, and each person only ever sees their own data.

They work together

Garage books a fill-up in Money, Kitchen reads the pantry from Inventory, Day writes your journal from twenty sources. Apps hand work to each other through Core, with no keys pasted between them.

In your pocket, too

Each app is a full web app on any device, and the native Pocket Homelab app for iPhone and Mac connects to them alongside the services you already run.

Platform

The hub every app signs in through, plus the pieces that tie the apps together.

Media

Films, shows, music, photos, podcasts, books and the tools that keep the library tidy.

Notes, files and office

Notes, tasks, calendar, contacts, mail, documents, files and office documents.

Money and things

Your finances, invoices, shared costs, the car and everything you own or want.

Everyday life

Your day, habits, health, places, cooking, travel and learning.

Work and code

Projects, time, reviews, pull requests, codebases and databases.

The server

Watch the machines, back them up and know what is on the network.

All of them, on one machine.

Pocket Box is a NixOS appliance: boot the installer from a USB stick, pick a disk, and Pocket Core with 50 Pocket apps comes up with HTTPS, single sign-on, nightly updates and automatic rollback.
