Pocket Projects
v0.33.0 · Self-hosted · MIT
Issues, boards and projects for a small team.
Pocket Projects is Linear-style project tracking for a household or a small team: issues with their own workflow, a kanban board, projects with milestones and status updates, cycles and a roadmap. It is one Go binary with one SQLite file, and every team sees only its own work.
- Included in Pocket Box
- Sign in with Pocket Core

Board
Drag work across the board.
Each team has its own workflow from backlog to done, with identifiers like WEB-12 that keep working after a move. Drag cards with the mouse or by touch, add swimlanes, and save the filters you use as a view.

Issues
Every property one keystroke away.
Status, priority, assignee, labels, project, milestone, cycle, estimate and due date sit beside the description. Checklists, sub-issues, relations and the discussion are on the same page.
- Markdown with @mentions, pasted images, threads and reactions
- A timer on every issue and a full history of changes
- Repeating issues and templates for recurring work

Projects
Projects that show where they stand.
A project spans teams and has a lead, members, start and target dates, milestones and documents. Progress counts what is done, in progress and not started, and each milestone has its own bar.
- Status updates with health: on track, at risk or off track
- A nudge when the weekly update is due
- A roadmap timeline you can drag

Cycles
Sprints that plan themselves ahead.
Cycles are created ahead of time, unfinished work rolls over, and each one shows its scope, what is started and completed, a burn-up chart and who is working on what.
- Breakdown by assignee, label or project
- Count issues or points
- Insights for flow, velocity, lead and cycle time

And the rest of it
An inbox that follows you
Assignments, mentions, comments, status changes and due dates land in the inbox and can be pushed to your phone through Apprise, ntfy or a webhook.
Linked to your code
Commits and pull requests in Forgejo or GitHub that mention an issue show up on it, and “fixes WEB-12” closes it.
Pocket apps through Pocket Core
Schedule a meeting in Pocket Calendar, put an issue on your Pocket Tasks list, run its timer in Pocket Time, or ask Pocket AI to break it into sub-issues.
Bring your issues along
Import CSV files from Linear, Jira and GitHub, export to CSV or JSON, and use the full API with tokens for your own scripts.
Install
One container, one volume.
Start the image, open it and create the first account, which becomes the admin. Create a team from a template such as Software, Simple kanban or Home and household, then press C for your first issue. DEMO_DATA=true fills an empty box with two teams to try.
On a Pocket Box it is already installed: people sign in with Pocket Core, and the household can be added to teams.
