Pocket Money
v0.17.1 · Self-hosted · MIT
Your money in one place, on your own server.
Pocket Money keeps accounts in any currency, quick entry that understands how you type, subscriptions that remind you or book themselves, budgets with a pace line, savings goals and reports. It tells you what is safe to spend each day, and it all lives in one SQLite file on your server.

Home
Where you stand, at a glance.
Net worth, what you have spent this month, what is safe to spend per day and the bills still due sit on top. Below are quick entry, your templates, recent bookings, insights worth a look and the payments coming up.

Quick entry
Type it the way you say it.
Type lunch 12,50; taxi 18 usd and a preview shows both bookings before you press Enter, with the template it matched, the category, the account and the dollars in euros.
- Amounts with a comma or a dot, currencies by code, symbol or word
- An account with @, a tag with #, several at once with ;
- Templates book a coffee in one tap. No AI involved

Subscriptions
Every bill, before it is due.
Rent, phone, streaming and salary in one list, with what they cost a month and a year and the next 60 days on their dates. Each one reminds you, books itself on the day or is just tracked.
- Payments you enter are linked to their subscription automatically
- Price changes are flagged, repeating payments are spotted for you
- A calendar feed puts every payment on its day

Budgets
Budgets with a pace line.
Each budget shows what is left, what you can spend per day and where you will end at this pace. The line on the bar is today, so you see at once whether you are ahead.
- Per week, month or year, over categories and tags
- Optional rollover of what you did not spend
- Suggest proposes budgets from the last three months

And the rest of it
Any currency, honestly
Each account keeps its own currency, and every transaction stores its value in your home currency at that day's rate, so reports never re-guess rates.
Reports that answer something
The month against the one before, cash flow, categories against their average, spending per tag or trip, net worth over time and a 30-day projection.
Brings Firefly III over
A re-runnable import of Firefly III and Firefly Pico, and a Firefly III-compatible API, so apps and scripts written for Firefly only change their URL.
One ledger per person
Everyone in the household has their own books. Share an account for the joint money and nothing else is shared, admins included.
Install
One container, one volume.
Pocket Money is a single binary with its data in one SQLite file. Run the container, open it in a browser and create your account. A Firefly III import, notifications and an AI key for voice entry are all optional.
On a Pocket Box it is already installed and signs you in through Pocket Core.
