Pocket apps

The Pocket apps integrated into Pocket Homelab, their service settings and alternatives, plus optional Pocket Core pairing.

Pocket Homelab connects to these self-hosted Pocket apps. Connect each one in Settings → Services, or use Pocket Core to receive the service profile available to your account. Core is optional, and Settings → Services lets you switch back to Individual services at any time.

Apps with a provider choice

These share an existing service slot. Choose the application at the top of its service settings; credentials for the other application stay saved. A choice changes which server the app uses, without migrating its data.

Garage Pocket Garage LubeLogger Vehicles, fuel and costs; Garage manages its own Money transactions
Documents Pocket Documents Paperless-ngx Document inbox, search, filing, uploads and scans

Notes Pocket Notes Nextcloud Notes Markdown notes, quick and daily notes, and notes about items in the app
Tasks Pocket Tasks Nextcloud Tasks Todos, lists, quick add, reminders and the task calendar

Pocket Monitoring Pocket Monitoring Beszel, Speedtest Tracker The Server tab’s computers, alerts, containers and logs, internet speed tests and scheduled jobs
Pocket Backups Pocket Backups Backrest Whether everything is backed up, jobs and repositories

Pocket Monitoring and Pocket Backups have no selector: while one is set up, the apps it replaces are off and their saved settings wait unused.

An existing legacy setup remains selected until you switch or pair a Core profile that selects a Pocket app. Connection mode and application choice are separate: individual mode can use Pocket apps too.

With Pocket Core

When Core shares both apps of one of these with you, Core → Devices → Apps on your devices decides which one your devices use: Automatic (the default) takes the Pocket app, or pick the other. Devices switch on their next refresh (opening the app, or Refresh services). When Core shares only one of the two, that one is used. The service’s page in Settings → Services shows Which app is in use and whether it was chosen in Core, taken automatically, or is the only one shared.

Follow each setup page for platform-specific features and limitations. A server being available through Core does not by itself add a new native screen; this list describes the integrations implemented in Pocket Homelab.
